A sea of pink plum blossoms stretching out below

Every year, plum blossoms bloom in full splendor, delighting visitors.

Apparently, when the project was first planned, some people asked, “Who on earth would come out here in the middle of nowhere?”

However, come spring, people from all over the country began flocking here just to catch a glimpse of this breathtaking view—a vast sea of pink stretching out below.
Some 2,000 trees representing 50 varieties—including Nanko, Oushuku, Shirokaga, and Bungo plums—bloom in all their glory. The garden attracts 80,000 visitors annually, and the grounds are filled with laughter as people enjoy the flowers.

Surrounded by plum blossoms and their fragrance

Inabe Bairin Park was created so that everyone—down to the great-great-grandchildren—could enjoy a smile.
Let’s step into the plum grove and feel that warm sentiment.

Surrounded by beautiful pink and white plum blossoms, take a deep breath of their sweet and tangy fragrance, and you’ll find yourself rejoicing in the arrival of spring.
