Inabe is a place where people and nature coexist.You can find many charming souvenirs unique to Inabe. In addition to tea, ume (Japanese plum), and soba (buckwheat noodles), which are rooted in this region, the wisdom and handiwork of Inabe’s residents transforms nature’s bounties into precious gifts.

Special feature “Tasting Inabe’s Ume”

Inabe City Bairin Park, the largest plum orchard in the Tokai area, is known for its spectacular scenery, and the best time to view the plum blossoms is in early March. Here we’ll introduce products using the plums grown in the park and the city.

Please come and enjoy one of the most beautiful seasons in Japan, with some sweet and sour plums on the side.

  • Mizore Umeshu (plum wine) made from ripened Inabe plums

    Plum wine made from ripe plums pickled in Junmai Daginjo sake with added plum pulp.Enjoy the mellow fragrance and rich flavor of the plums.

  • Amazake & amazake tea

    Sweet sake made from “Milky Queen” rice malt, locally grown in Inabe’s rich soil and water without added sugar or sake lees. The sweetness is a product of the naturally fermented rice.The amazake tea is made using a blend of Ishigure tea (Kabusecha).

  • UME WHITE

    This refreshing plum-infused white beer uses natural yeast and wheat malt from Ise. It is characterized by a softly fragrant plum flavor and natural sourness.

  • Inabe Ishigurecha assortment set

    Ishigure tea has been produced in the natural environment of the Suzuka Mountains for over 100 years since the Edo period. It has a rich aroma and the set contains five different tea bags with the leaves carefully selected by each farmer.

    Here you can purchase hearty agricultural products directly from the local farmers who grew them.The store sells a wide variety of products made with local ingredients, focusing on seasonal vegetables and fruits, as well as prepared foods, Japanese sweets, bread, gelato, and other items made at Uribo’s facilities.
